Este año el Premio Canal Sur es para uno de los artistas multidisciplinares más importantes de Andalucía: Álex O’Dogherty, que precisamente presentará en FICAL Documental su ópera prima De todos lados, un poco.
Este actor y músico nacido en San Fernando lleva más de un cuarto de siglo trabajando como actor, gozando de gran popularidad a raíz de su participación en producciones televisivas como Camera café, Doctor Mateo y Olmo y Robles.
En su trayectoria cinematográfica destacan películas como Héroes de barrio, Camera Café, Salir del ropero, Felices 140, Pancho, el perro millonario, A puerta fría, Los managers o El factor Pilgrim, cuyo 25 aniversario celebramos también en FICAL.

This actor and musician, born in San Fernando, has been working as an actor for more than a quarter of a century, achieving great popularity thanks to his participation in television productions such as Camera café, Doctor Mateo y Olmo y Robles.
His film career includes films such as Héroes de barrio, Camera Café, My Grandma’s a Lesbian, Happy 140, Millionaire Dog, A Cold Door, Los managers and The Pilgrim Factor, the 25th anniversary of which will also be celebrated here at FICAL. She first began in the film industry working as an independent producer until she founded her own company, Áralan Films. She has produced, among others, The Wild Ones, Out in the Open, When Angels Sleep, Innocent Killers, Gold, Quién te cantará, La maniobra de la tortuga, Saturn Return (Oscar nominee for Spain), Rita (participant in FICAL Opera Prima) and the yet-to-be-released Invisible series.
