SINOPSIS/SYNOPSIS

Todos descendemos de emigrantes si buscamos bien en nuestras raíces. Todos pertenecemos a un sitio, pero ese sitio no nos pertenece. A esta conclusión llega el actor Alex O’Dogherty, mientras continúa la investigación que empezó su padre sobre la historia de su apellido. No todos los descendientes de emigrantes son tratados igual. Depende de dónde procedan y del color de su piel. Alex intenta saber quién es, buscando de dónde viene, para acabar descubriendo que es… de todos lados un poco.

We all descend from migrants if we look deep enough into our roots. We all belong to a place, but that place does not belong to us. This is the conclusion reached by actor Alex O’Dogherty as he continues the research his father began into the history of their surname. Not all descendants of migrants are treated equally — it depends on where they come from and the color of their skin. In his search to discover who he is by tracing where he comes from, Alex ultimately realizes that he belongs… a little bit everywhere.
