Un estudiante de derecho de clase humilde lucha contra su destino: el fracaso. Ha de estudiar para un examen de Derecho Romano, y como no consigue concentrarse, baja al bar Cósmico con la idea de tomarse un café y airearse. Después de presenciar la ruptura de la camarera con su novio, el estudiante y ella se quedan a solas en el bar. Es entonces cuando empieza una intensa conversación que les enseña alguna cosa sobre quiénes son, y cambiará la forma de ver la vida que tiene cada personaje: encontrándose el uno al otro, se encuentran a sí mismos.
A law student from a humble background is fighting against his destiny: Failure. He has to study for a Roman Law exam, and as he is unable to concentrate, he goes down to the Cosmic bar with the idea of having a coffee and getting some fresh air. After witnessing the waitress break up with her boyfriend, the student and she are left alone in the bar. It is then that an intense conversation begins that teaches them something about who they are and will change the way each character sees life: by finding each other, they find themselves.
